NEAT Universe brings together facilities for food development, product analysis, sensory evaluation and selected human study activities, all under one roof.
This allows us to move easily between practical development and scientific evaluation, while bringing together the people and expertise each project needs.

Our kitchen laboratory provides a flexible environment for formulation, prototyping and early-stage product development. Here, ideas can be translated into physical products, tested, adjusted and refined through hands-on experimentation.

Our analytical laboratory allows us to measure and follow relevant product properties throughout the development process.
By combining practical experimentation with analytical measurements, we can better understand how changes in formulation or processing affect the product.
Evaluate
See how people respond
Our flexible lounge provides an informal setting for sensory evaluations, product tastings and consumer feedback. It can be adapted to different types of activities, helping us explore how products are perceived and where there may be room for improvement.

Take evaluation further
Our facilities support selected human study activities, including participant visits, sample collection and basic measurements.
These facilities can support NEAT-led projects as well as provide practical local study support in collaboration with research organisations and CROs.

NEAT Universe is designed to bring people and expertise together. We collaborate with companies, research organisations, CROs and universities – adapting our role and facilities to the needs of each project.
We also welcome opportunities for MSc projects, internships and international student exchanges, particularly when they can connect with ongoing research and innovation activities.
